==== Graduate Printer ====

The graduate printer is located on the second floor outside the Director's office, and can be used by any graduate student who has paid their printing fee.

=== Adding the Printer ===

The printer is located at newhp.socs.uoguelph.ca. The printer model is an HP Laserjet m603dn. First, install the [[http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=5254100|printer drivers]]. Select your operating system from the dropdown.

== OSX ==

- Open the System Preferences Menu, and select Printers and Scanners
  - Click the Plus to add a new printer
  - Select the IP Tab
  - First, change Protocol: to HP Jetdirect - Socket, then enter newhp.socs.uoguelph.ca as Address:
  - The correct driver should automatically be selected
  - Click Add and the printer is ready to use

== Windows 10 ==

- Select Start and type "Advanced Print" in the search box, choose "Advanced Printer Setup"
  - Select "The printer I want wasn't listed"
  - Select “Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname” , then select “Next“
  - Select “TCP/IP Device” in the “Device type” list
  - Type "newhp.socs.uoguelph.ca" as the hostname and hit next
  - If you installed the drivers found above, Windows should automatically choose the correct drivers.
