An application is also available for both Desktop and Mobile clients. This application will allow you to view your files through your regular filesystem. Downloads are available [[https://nextcloud.com/install/#install-clients| here]]. The Nextcloud application is also installed on the iMacs in THRN2420.

1. Start the Nextcloud Program, and click "Log In".

2. Enter the server address ''%%https://cloud.socs.uoguelph.ca%%''

3. On OS/X the Certificate is often rejected and you may see the below window. Click "Trust this certificate anyway" and hit "OK".

4. Click "Log In".

5. Enter your Central Login ID and Password, and hit "Login".

6. Click "Grant Access".

7. The default values are usually all that is needed, but you may change the options if you wish. Otherwise, click "Connect" to accept the defaults.

8. Nextcloud is now connected. The folder will appear in Finder. You can also access the files through the Terminal at the "Local Folder" location specified in Step 7. By default this is /Users/<Username>/Nextcloud.
