Relating to the motion in support of inclusive vocabulary that was passed 2020-11-10, here is a list of proposed replacement terms:

• master/slave → primary/replica or primary/secondary
• blacklist/whitelist → blocklist/allowlist'master' branch → 'default' or 'main' git branches
• 'black-hat' and 'white-hat' hackers → 'red team' and 'blue team'
• You guys/ladies & gentlemen → folks, friends, colleagues, people etc.
• _man → firefighter, police officer, chairperson, etc
• man-made → artificial
• man-hours → person-hours, working hours, etc.
