Graduate Student Space
Graduate Pods
The Graduate Program Assistant assigns Graduate Students to individual desks located in “Grad Pod” rooms in Reynolds Building. The use of these spaces are optional.
- Grad Pod Rooms are located in Reynolds 2221 & 2207 (second floor) & 3307 (third floor)
- Each Grad Pod Desk has mini lockable floor cabinet for individual use (e.g. to lock personal belongings, etc.).
- The code to lock/unlock the cabinets are determined by the graduate students.
- If you have forgotten your code to your lockable cabinet, please contact the GPA to reprogram your code.
Printer
Graduate students have access to use of a black & white photocopier/printer/scanner on the third floor of Reynolds (copy room, 3381).

Graduate Loung & Lunch Room
Graduate Students have access to a lunch room on the second floor of Reynolds equipped with a microwave and refridgerator. The use of this lunch room is for graduate students only.
Printing Fees
We strongly encourage graduate students to opt-in to pay the photocopying and printing fees upon entry into their program. This is a one-time fee that allows full-use, unlimited printing and photocopying from the SoCS grad student printer for the duration of their program. The fee for MSc students is $40.00, and the fee for PhD students is $60.00. The graduate student printer and photocopier are both located on the second floor of the Reynolds Building.
Printer
The printer is located in VMI, second floor, room 215D. The printer name is: “NewHP”, and the IP location is: NewHp.socs.uoguelph.ca

All new graduate students must complete theSoCS Acceptable Use Policy forms at the beginning of their first semester.
