Notes About the RT Setup Process
- CIS*2430 F23 Queue has been set up as a prototype for the process of using RT for TA and Instructor emails for course support
- Two groups are set up for each queue - one for the instructor to manage group members, and templates, and another for the TAs to access and work with the queue
- Most issues in the setup so far have been related to permissions
- RT-Python is a library to programmatically interact with the RT Rest API. This will be necessary to scale this process and ensure consistency.
- To override a global scrip, a blank template of the same name as the template referred to by the global scrip must be created in the queue
